Before you invest in AI, automation or another platform, understand how work actually moves through your organisation and what will make a measurable difference.
The Alchamentary Opportunity Review
For UK organisations with 15–100 employees, several systems, and a growing suspicion that something could work better.
We examine up to three operational areas, speak with the people closest to the work, map the systems and hand-offs, and turn the findings into a prioritised roadmap. Some recommendations may involve AI. Some will not.
01 · See the waste
Manual re-keying, spreadsheet dependencies, duplicated information, avoidable errors and work that has survived simply because nobody has redesigned it.
02 · Judge the options
Each material opportunity is considered by value, feasibility, time to value, strategic fit, confidence, adoption ease and risk.
03 · Know Monday's work
A practical 30-day, 90-day, 6-month and 12-month roadmap, including the things that are not worth buying or building.
Questionnaire, preparation and a 90-minute discovery meeting.
Turn recurring pain into a considered set of opportunities.
Describe credible approaches, costs, risks and AI suitability.
Present a report that tells your team what to do next.
| Deliverable | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Current landscape | Major systems, information flows, recurring friction and dependency on people or spreadsheets. |
| Opportunity map | Candidate improvements ranked by value and difficulty, with clear DO NOW, PROVE NEXT, PLAN and DON'T DO categories. |
| Top opportunities | Enough solution shape to show what could work, what it might cost and which assumption needs testing. |
| AI suitability | AI NOT REQUIRED, AI OPTIONAL, AI JUSTIFIED, AI HIGH-RISK or AI INAPPROPRIATE, based on the actual work. |
| Security and data view | What enters the system, who can access it, where it is processed, and what happens when it is wrong. |
| Roadmap | Practical action over 30 days, 90 days, 6 months and 12 months. |
We measure human cost honestly. Twelve people spending fifteen minutes a day on a task is 660 hours a year. At £30 per loaded hour, that is approximately £19,800 of capacity before anyone has mentioned AI.
The Review includes one organisation, up to three operational areas and up to five key stakeholders. It does not include penetration testing, legal certification, production implementation, migration, formal DPIAs, procurement or guaranteed savings.
